Route
In this race, two participants each run part of the marathon distance. Participant 1 runs the first 15 km from Niedernhall to Künzelsau and via the vineyards back to Niedernhall. Then the runners switch in the transition area and Participant 2 runs the remaining 27 km from Niedernhall downstream to Weißbach, then up to Büschelhof and over the “Kocherberg” hill with a great view and back down to Forchtenberg. Above the road through the Kocher valley, it goes to Ernsbach and then takes the bike path back to Forchtenberg. There the route goes through the old town and then along the bike path through Weißbach to Niedernhall. For the last few kilometers, it loops back to Weißbach and takes the bike path upstream to the finish line in Niedernhall.
